The Langtang-Gosainkund region is a beautiful alpine valley that lies north of Kathmandu, next to the Tibetan border. The road from Kathmandu is well connected up to Syabru Besi, only a- 8 hour drive from Kathmandu. Yet, despite the fact, Langtang region remains a relatively less explored trekking area. Bill Tilman, a famous explorer and a climbing partner of Eric Shipton, has described in his book ‘Langtang as one of the world’s most beautiful valleys.’ During the trek you will visit the sacred lake of Gosainkund and cross the Laurebina La Pass (4100m). Here, at Gosainkund you will enjoy excellent views into Tibet and also meet Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims on the trail on your way down the ridges .On the concluding day of the trek, we will drive you back to Kathmandu.
