The Langtang region lies just south of the Tibetan-border and has been linked by road with Kathmandu up to Syabru besi. The area is sandwiched between the main Himalayan mountain range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south.

Langtang is an open and fertile valley where flowers bloom abundantly and the grass grows thick. The entire Langtang region encompassed by this valley can rightly be described as a paradise for trekkers.. Trekking to the Langtang Valley offers an opportunity to visit ethnic villages inhabited by Tamang ethnic community, climb small peaks and explore glaciers at comfortably low elevations. During the trek you will experience Tamang culture and lifesyle much similar to that of the Tibetan people.
